Soto Amicus, WindMaster and Toaks Titanium Pots: Cook Kit
How we did this: we read Soto’s and Toaks’ own product pages, checked on 29 Sep 2026. Soto’s online store was not showing prices that day, so Soto prices are left out. We have not field-tested this gear.
An ultralight cook kit is a canister stove and a titanium pot. Soto’s Amicus stove weighs 2.9 oz with its igniter; Toaks’ 750 ml titanium pot weighs 103 g (3.6 oz) with its lid and costs $26. Together they come to 184 g (6.5 oz) before fuel. Soto’s WindMaster saves 0.6 oz and adds a pressure regulator.

Source: Toaks product pages, checked 29 Sep 2026. Per-100 ml weight is our calculation. Bail-handle versions weigh a little more (750 ml: 110 g; 1100 ml: 145 g).
The 750 ml is the solo pick. At 103 g with lid and $26 it is the cheapest pot here, and Toaks lists a 110 g fuel canister among the containers that fit inside it. The 550 ml saves 31 g if you only boil water for one; the 1100 ml suits two people or real cooking.

- Lightest: Soto WindMaster (TriFlex) + Toaks 550 ml: 67 + 72 = 139 g (4.9 oz).
- Solo standard: Soto Amicus + Toaks 750 ml: 81 + 103 = 184 g (6.5 oz).
- Two people: Soto WindMaster (4Flex) + Toaks 1100 ml: 87 + 125 = 212 g (7.5 oz).
Add a fuel canister and a lighter as backup; our figures are before fuel.
